My Man

So we are fast approaching our first year as a married couple. It has been a whirlwind. I can't believe how fast life goes (and seems to only be getting faster). Dustin and I enjoy doing everything together and often go to dinner and just talk for about anything and everything. Last night, we went to one of our favorite joints, McCoys. We had a blast just maxin and relaxin, which is what we do best.

That's the number I am in this big family I was born into and the way I am introduced to acquaintances of my parents. There's 8 of us kids- yes same mom and dad, 5 in-laws, 5 grand kids- 6 in a few weeks 4 dogs and NO CATS- thank God. And despite there being this many of us, we are all going to pack into a local target come Christmas and take family pictures for the first time. Are we crazy??

Now, that I am married I have added about 50 new people to my life. The more the merrier, I always say. The picture was taken about 1 hour before I become the proud Mrs. Elliott!

Love and Marriage

So I recently got hitched- Oct. 14, 07 to be exact. It was quite the life changing experience. I met Dustin or Elliott as I like to call him when I was only 16 and took over 7 years to realize he was the one. What can I say, I am a slow learner. We had this great wedding. . . the type of day you never forget. It was fabulous. My family was all there and we had this great autumn day in Kansas City.

What's happening?

Okay so today I finally enrolled in my Masters of Science in Nursing program. I know, I know I should have done this before I decided to have a baby right? But as most of you already know, that's my style, all or nothing. Hopefully, I will have my degree b/f 2010. Wow. . . that seems like a long time away. Anyhoo, I will let you know how it goes. Btw, when I went to enroll this was the picture that popped up. . .
